About this Site

What?

Evidence-based recommendations on clinical preventive health care developed by the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care (CTFPHC).

Why?

To provide a site maintained by the CTFPHC, an internationally recognized guidelines development group, where users can access up-to-date preventive care guidelines developed from rigorously evaluated medical research evidence, and suitable for use in the primary care setting.

Who?

For health care clinicians, policy makers and consumers

How?

Tables, review articles, abstracts, bibliographic lists, etc. of recommendations and supporting materials.

When?

Information will be updated regularly, as CTFPHC work progresses.
