"Unzipping" Reference Manager Files
Before you can "unzip" Reference Manager files, you must download the WinZip program. Click on the WinZip icon and follow the instructions.
To "unzip" the Workshop
CD, click on "Zipped Workshop CD". You will then be prompted to save the file (and
choose a folder in which to save it).
Using the WinZip Wizard Interface:
In Windows Explorer, go to the
folder, double-click on the zip file, and follow the instructions to
"unzip" the file. You will be prompted to choose a folder in
which to save the "unzipped" file.
OR Using the WinZip Classic
Interface:
In Windows
Explorer, go to the folder and double-click on the zip file. In the
WinZip window, highlight the files and click on "extract".
You will be prompted to choose a folder in which to save the
"unzipped" files.
To access the CTFPHC website:
Go to
the folder in which you saved the "unzipped" file and double-click on the
"Setup.exe" file. For the English version of the
website, click on "English". (Click on "Français"
for the French version.) Note: In order to access the website, you
must have Netscape Navigator installed on your computer. Also, if your
computer is not connected to the Internet, you will not be able to access
link-outs from the CD to other websites.

To access other materials, go to the folder in which you saved the "unzipped" file and double-click on the "Contents" folder. Double-click on the folder for the desired topic (see Contents of Workshop CD). Double-click on the desired document. Note: You must have the Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word programs installed on your computer in order to access the PDF and Word files, respectively.
